Description
This artwork is part of the Red Rocks series. This rock was THE landmark that my brothers and I would look for when driving from Texas to Utah as kids. Once we saw “Snowman Rock” we knew we were getting close to grandma’s house.
In my artworks, I try to use materials that would otherwise go to waste. So to me they act as little reminders of how pretty nature is when we take care of it. All the cardboard involved is ethically sourced from my recycling bin, lovingly basted with vibrant acrylic paint, and then dissected and reassembled into the red rock formations you see. It measures just under 5″ x 7″ and comes ready to hang on your wall.
